OK, so it's actually a vest, but it's neat, nonetheless. Gale said it's my birthday present, but she couldn't wait to give it to me. She was trying to make a whole sweater, sleeves and all, but she couldn't figure out how to make sleeves, and she was doing it without a pattern. She doesn't like patterns; she finds it hard to decipher them, and she doesn't have anybody to help her, so she just wings it. I don't care whether it has sleeves or not; I love it anyway! And, it's my favorite color, so that makes it even better!
I heard Gale talking to Rachel last night; I think that she's really considering taking Rachel with her to Ohio. She was talking about Rachel's eyes. I talked to her (Rachel) yesterday, and she said she has a bum eye. (my words) I heard Gale say something about a trip to Chicago, so I'm assuming she's going to take Rachel to Chicago to be fixed. That's a good thing; Rachel can't go through life not being able to see right out of one eye.

Your new sweater vest is quite pretty. I'm hoping Laura will make me something similar. Like Gale, she hates using knitting patterns.
It's too bad about Rachel's eye. How "bum" is it? One of my eyes is bigger than the other, but it doesn't affect my vision--other than having to wear glasses sometimes--so we don't worry about. Laura has the same thing anyway.
Her bum eye won't focus right Everything is fuzzy, she says. Gale says that it doesn't have the right markings in it, whatever that means. Must be a human term.
That's too bad. :( Hopefully it'll all get fixed soon.
Your new vest is really cute! And hopefully Rachel will get her eye fixed. I would hate to not be able to see properly.
Cute vest/sweter thingy! Poor Rachel! I read your old post on the "surgery" I would like to know about it! (I have seen pics of a doll with no head on so I'm prepared for the worst!)
While I would like to put up a picture of what I saw for you, I don't have one, and I don't think any of my friends would be willing to help me get one. :)
Your new vest is very nice! I keep asking Vee for one to go with my plaid A-line skirt, but nothing happens... :(
